Family Sessions with the little kids

Most people want, yet dread taking family pictures with their little kids. Am I right? It's a lot of work.

I just did a family session for someone I took her senior pictures - and yes I feel a little old saying that...

I KNOW the little kids are going to whine, get rowdy, not want to sit still, it's like that EVERY time! So my philosophy is to just go with it. Instead I try lots of movement, tickling, playing, running. Anything I can think of that makes the kids have fun and smile! Your kids will eventually grow out of this phase and they will sit still and smile on command, but let's make the most of their childhood and capture the memories that fit the time.
