Preparing for a Sendoff

Perhaps it's because I have a soon-to-be senior myself or maybe time is just going fast - but I'm finding myself quite emotional about this 12th year! 

As I look at other moms - some being their first kiddo to go and some their last, I feel the gravity of the moment. My summer is immersed in all things high school - ACT tests, college visits, big decisions and COVID changes... AND I get to take lots of senior pictures in this season. All bittersweet.

Which brings me to James - he seems to have a bit of an old soul. He's amazing - a hard worker, destined for something great and a smile to light up any room. Just my next senior post that makes me think the world is going to be alright in the hands of a great generation!
